Our client is a major UK venture fund, and one of the leading names in UK technology investing. The culture is entrepreneurial and dynamic. They have made investments in a significant number of companies in the space. The focus is more on technology hardware than software They are now looking to recruit an Investment Director level professional. The role will focus on the origination and execution of investments for the fund, leading the execution of deals. This will involve full management of the process including negotiation of terms, deal structuring, management of advisors, managing a small deal team through to completion. The fund works closely with portfolio companies and the successful candidate can expect to have a lot of interaction with investee business. The position is suitable for someone who will have a background as follows; - Director/ similar with venture capital or private equity fund - The successful candidate must have a real interest in technology investing - Very good investment experience - you will probably have 10 years experience - Proven track record of leading deals
