Accounts and Audit Senior Sutton, Surrey Salary DOE Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants, Insolvency Practitioners and Independent Financial Advisors dedicated to ensuring clients achieve their goals, maximise profits and minimise taxation liabilities. Having been a successful practice for over 30 years, our client has a reputation they can be proud of helping serve people across London and the South East. They are looking for a fully qualified and experienced accountant to help manage the BSG department and help grow the practice. You will be responsible for leading the practice audits, managing your own portfolio, including management accounts, year end accounts and corporation tax. You will also be developing client relationships, providing training and assistance to other staff members and will possess excellent communication and IT skills. Your Responsibilities Managing a team of 19 colleagues and 3 partners Assist the management team in managing, developing and growing the practice Development of the tax department Managing your own portfolio Leading the practice audits Build and maintain close relationships with clients Providing training and assistance to other staff members. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience Must be a fully qualified accountant Proven general practice experience including accounts preparation, tax and audit experience is essential Strong communication and management skills Ability to work in high pressure environment Operate with a high degree of autonomy with strong project leadership skills for you and your team Excellent communication and IT skills.
