Salary:
£27,500 Company Bonus My client, a leading provider of aircraft parts and services to the commercial aviation sector, has a requirement for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. General Objective: The role is to assist the credit control team with the collection of funds from the company's global customers to achieve on time payment of customer accounts. Main activities: -Manage own portfolio of customer accounts and assess risks -Produce a daily debtors list and review account balances in relation to days owed -Proactively chase customers for payment of overdue debt -Respond and resolve customer queries to minimise delay in payment of invoices -Record and allocate payments in accordance with customer remittances -Liaise with customers and internal departments as necessary to resolve customer disputes -Reconcile customer accounts -Build relationships with customers to achieve good payment record -Liaise with colleagues on problem customers and take appropriate action -Assist with customer credit limit reviews -Produce general credit control reports as and when required -Provide data for Bid Review and management for specific customer accounts -Update computer records with email/telephone conversations and contact details -Negotiate and agree contracts where customer is also a supplier -Ensure performance and deadlines are achieved in accordance with KPI's -Undertake customer visits both UK and abroad as required -Liaise with internal departments as the nature of the specific task may require -Assist the Credit Control Team with all tasks as required Ideal Candidate Background: -Background in credit control -Minimum of 1 year previous working experience in a commercial finance environment -Knowledge of Sage accounting system, experience with Quantum would be beneficial -Customer service skills and experience -Good negotiating ability -Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines -Analytical thinking with reporting skills and problem solving ability. -Ability to prioritise and manage workloads -Strong organisation and administration skills with good attention to detail -Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work under pressure. -Excellent communication skills at all levels both written and verbal -Multi lingual advantageous, but not essential -Confident telephone manner -Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook f you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Rose Blanch at Line Up Aviation Due to the number of applications we receive, it's not always possible to contact unsuccessful applicants.
