An expanding firm of Chartered Accountants based in Elstree are looking to appoint an Audit Senior. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounting practice. The succesful candidate will be fully/part qualified (ACCA or ACA), have a good undersatnding of accounting standards, e.g. FRS 102 and experience in managing on site audit teams. Typical responsibilities will include:
• Leading on site audit teams to completion to enable review by the Audit Manager
• Preparing full sets of accounts for a variety of clients
• Managing budgets and timescales
• Supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff
• Preparation of corportate and personal tax returns
