You will already have heard of Comic Relief, or, our campaign brands, Red Nose Day and Sport Relief. Over the last few decades, together these have raised over a £1bn for those who need it most at home and abroad. We are looking for two motivated and proactive Finance Business Partners join our team, to provide high quality support to the Financial Planning and Analysis team and support better decision making across the organisation. It's an exciting time to join Comic Relief as we draw towards another campaign night in March and we will soon welcome a new Chief Executive steering the organisation to more success in an ever changing and challenging environment. Your key responsibilities will include: Carrying out an accurate and efficient month end process; preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting; Providing clear communication and in-depth support by building and maintaining excellent relationships with the business and ensuring budget holders are supported on all financial issues; Quality and timeliness of financial information, both to budget holders and senior management; Designing and developing new reports for management and Trustees, as requested. The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant with a driven and proactive approach from the Charity, Commercial or wider Public Sector. You will have a strong sense of commercial acumen and an analytical mind-set. You will be bright, positive, a keen problem solvers and a good relationship builder. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation. One of the roles will also be heavily involved in building reports and financial models and we are looking for somebody with a strong interest in manipulating data, systems and designing new reporting tools.
