Job Description: Our client, a high growth fintech business who have just secured a second round of funding, are looking for a Data Analyst to join their Banking team. The team partners with the banks and so looking for a new banking partner which will enable the team to strengthen existing relationships and gain exclusive products for the customers. You will work with the existing Data Analyst to collate, refine and check that data output is accurate. Key responsibilities include:
• To work with all members of the banking team to help produce and quality check both internal and external reports that will be valuable for the Company and its banking partners to understand and track on an on-going basis
• To assist in the extraction of the data required for these from the various sources available at the company, and to be responsible for their accuracy
• To assist the MP in research and investigation into potential new markets and products that the company may consider and in the development of the overall bank strategy
• To assist in the collation of data to support the company's Bank Credit Committee
• To support the Banks team with analysis into the wider financial services market and in investigating the potential for new initiatives that will enable the company to expand its product range and geographical reach Skills & Experience
• Quality Assurance experience (minimum 2 years) gained at a blue-chip Bank, Asset Manager, Consulting Group, Accountancy Company or Fintech company
• Very strong skills in Excel, with strong reporting, data visualisation and presentation skills
• The ability to be proactive and use initiative, show resourcefulness and contribute ideas as part of the banking team
• Strong communication skills and a demonstrable ability to be able to ask pertinent questions, listen and offer solutions to both internal and external stakeholders and clients
