You will need to be an experienced assistant accountant who is studying, part-qualified or have completed their AAT, ACCA, CIMA Joining an established accounting team, you will have varied responsibilities including : preparation of accounting records, accruals and prepayment posting bank and intercompany reconciliations, receivables process and the preparation of sales invoices. providing credit control. preparing quarterly and monthly UK VAT returns Preparing ledger schedules and providing audit information Some cover too for the work of the Purchase Ledger clerk. They are looking for an experienced assistant accountant/accounts assistant. Ideally coming from a small team environment. Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks or Yardi is an advantage.
