Tax Senior - Sutton, Surrey

£35,000-£45,000 on experience An excellent role for a Tax Senior to join an established independent accountancy practice based in Sutton. Working within a team of professionals, you will be managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. This role would suit someone with a desire to progress and develop their career within a well-respected accountancy firm. Key responsibilities Tax compliance Build and maintain close relationships with clients Reviewing sole trader accounts Filing CT returns Providing tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients Identify tax planning opportunities Management of a portfolio of both personal and corporate tax clients including the preparation of complex tax returns and those of HNWI's /Non Residents and some trusts Ensuring key deadlines are met by managing and reviewing the process of tax returns Ad hoc tax advisory work as required Development of the tax department Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team Essential requirements ATT qualified Previous experience in a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of current personal and corporate tax legislation CTA qualified could be an advantage but may not be essential Benefits Early finish on a Friday 23 days holiday (increases to 25 after 1 years' service) Free parking Opportunities for career development Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
