Their products can already be seen in three (and soon to be four) of the nation's biggest retailers and they have global reach across 30 countries. They are now in a position to recruit a Qualified Accountant to help them through their next growth phase. The role itself will have loads of variety (and at times will be pretty chaotic). It will cover everything from the day-to-day transactions through to the preparation financial information for their next stage of fundraising. The Directors don't have a preference on your background. You might be working for a larger corporate and looking to move in to a broader role or you could be working for an SME and looking for your next exciting challenge. THE ROLE Main liaison with acting Finance Director and External Accountants Provide financial and commercial support to internal stakeholders Preparation of weekly and monthly management information Provide advice to ensure sound financial and operational decisions are made Challenge spend to drive the overall financial shape Working directly with CEO and Finance Director on cashflow maintenance and forecasting Support with the preparation of financial information for fundraising preparation Responsible for understanding and monitoring all capex spend Responsible for understanding, monitoring and providing advice on the re-shaping of sales account level contribution Management of the day to day finance function including setting up payment runs, managing invoices and reconciling all info.
