My client, a long-established growing company with Headquarters in Reading Town Centre (RG1), are seeking a an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role would suit a candidate who has strong Excel skills and looking to gain further experience in Accounts Receivable in a large company. To be successful you will need to be a confident communicator with good attention to detail and be able to demonstrate an understanding of how a Billing and Accounts Receivable function works as part of a Finance Team. My client is offering a competitive salary plus bonus, and excellent benefits. The working environment and culture is high-spirited, dynamic, busy and very sociable. Duties Include: Generate invoices using Finance system and excel spreadsheets. Scan and email to invoices to internal and external stakeholders and file documents accurately. Manage records of Purchase Order numbers. Ongoing maintenance of client records. Working with the wider business to resolve queries. Assist credit control Team with sending out monthly statements. The Candidate: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills Prior experience in processing large volumes of Sales invoices Experience in coding and invoice accruals with journals (training offered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks with accuracy Enjoy working on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver results, learn and share knowledge Ability to remain calm under pressure Feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment Ability to build strong relationships cross functionally Flexible attitude to cover work as required Experience in using Netsuite would be an advantage This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate looking to kick-start their career - with full training from the outset, a competitive salary package and all within a brilliant modern working environment.
