A great permanent opportunity to join a well-established media company as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager. The Role To control and provide guidance and operational support to the AP/AR team and wider finance team. To co-ordinate and distribute workload on a daily basis, ensuring issues are effectively prioritised and resolved and that resources are optimised. Responsible for the accurate and timely processing and review of invoices, ensuring that AP/AR transactions are performed in line with the company policies and specific country or regional requirements. Responsible for payments runs: cash forecasting and manage credit and collection. Point of contact for internal and external queries, regarding supplier payments providing excellent customer services. Liaise with Programming teams to ensure programming payments are made in line with contractual pre-conditions. To ensure suppliers are paid as per payment terms. To help maintain strong relationships with suppliers. To ensure customers pay us on time as per payment terms. To help manage the cash/liquidity position of the company. Ensure that customer and supplier master database is accurate and maintained. Ensure queries are handled efficiently while managing customers and supplier relationships. Manage the processing and analysis of T&E claims, petty cash and corporate credit card transactions. Review and approve AP/AR GL reconciliation reports and perform root cause analysis when required. Liaising with the auditors during annual and interim audits. To promote and display trust to build successful business relationships and contacts ensuring the business adheres to purchasing procedures. Personal Specification A minimum a 3 years experience within a similar role with a managerial/supervisory element Display a proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities. Ability to work with a high level of autonomy, identify problems and take ownership for finding solutions where a precedent may not be set. Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Display a results-driven mindset. Demonstrate a high level of Integrity Strong systems skills with a focus on continually looking to improve how systems are used in order to improve internal processes and reporting.
