Ref 21647 Central London Investment Manager - route through to Board Member £80,000 plus bonus and competitive benefits package Are you looking for a role that will give you the opportunity to becoming a Board member and obtain equity within a firm? That will offer you a high degree of autonomy and give you the exposure of setting up a DFM? If the answer is yes to either question, then read on. I am currently recruiting for one of my clients that I have worked closely with over the last 4 years, successfully recruiting all their new staff. They are a multi-award-winning Chartered Wealth Management firm, based in the heart of the City. Due to the significant on-boarding of new clients, they have seen impressive growth in funds under management. As a result of this, they are now looking for an experienced Investment Manager to help manage their existing Investment Team and help the firm set up their own DFM at a point in the future. Duties will include: - Providing Investment Management services to Private Clients, Trustees and Charities - Ensuring all advice is within relevant regulatory standards - To provide personalised and professional Investment services for individuals who wish to have their portfolios managed on a bespoke basis. - Help with construction of new portfolios, conduct reviews and make relevant changes. - Attend client meetings and develop and retain a portfolio of Private Client relationships and liaise with intermediaries as appropriate. - Take responsibility for the day to day management of the current Investment Team - Ensuring all services are complaint within FCA guidelines. - Identify relevant training issues and implement programs to improve knowledge and skill gaps. This is a very autonomous role, where you will be expected to make key investment decisions and take the lead on the company's Investment Committee, whilst liaising directly with all Board members. To be eligible for this role, you will need to be CF30 qualified as well as being at least level 6 CFA or CISI qualified; have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, enjoy being client focused and be confident in your decision-making abilities. If you are looking for a route through to becoming a Board member and gain equity in a firm, then this would be an excellent move for you.
