Finance Assistant (£19,000 - 22,000) ParkerSteel are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our small Finance Team taking responsibility for the whole Purchase Ledger including processing and payment of supplier invoices, creating payment files and resolving queries. The role will include processing supplier invoices on a daily basis ensuring accuracy and completeness, liaising with buyers to resolve any queries; preparing payment files and checking for credit balances on the Purchase Ledger. Raising Remittance Advices to be sent to all suppliers. Processing staff expenses; maintaining up to date supplier details on the Purchase Ledger Supplier Master File and adding new suppliers as required. What we are looking for? This would be an ideal role for someone who is part ACA/ACCA qualified and looking for a role that gives a breadth of tasks to develop their own experience and skills in. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently. You will need have strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Good Excel and other MS Office skills are a must, finance software training will be provided. Purchase ledger experience is desirable. Benefits
