An Accountancy background is not essential but experience working in Business Development in the professional services market place is of paramount importance. A genuine commercial interest to appreciate the benefits that a firm with good taxation knowledge can offer in the current economy is also vital, alongside the commercial awareness necessary to appeal to what's important to our clients and understand their businesses. You will be able to demonstrate at interview that you have complete confidence in your ability to develop a strategic programme for growth and the necessary skills to deliver it. Those skills will be predominantly in sales, leadership, the ability to analyse and interpret data, motivate others and empower them.
