Assistant Management Accountant - £28,000 study support - Bristol Assistant Management Accountant Robert Half are currently working on behalf of a well-established engineering business based in St George, Bristol to recruit an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant offering £28,000 study support. This role is perfect for a driven and dedicated individual as there is plenty of scope for fast-tracked progression into a Finance Manager position as the business continues to grow. Ideally, this post would suit a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA with previous accounts production experience. The Role Working in a small team of two - reporting directly to the Financial Controller - you will be responsible for an all-encompassing and varied role including month-end management accounts preparation, budgeting and forecasting as well as transactional duties. Key Duties Prepare monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of annual budgets & forecasts Report monthly on the Actual Vs Budget by department Maintaining sales ledger and purchase ledger Bank reconciliations Credit Control Assist the Financial Controller with year-end preparation and preparation of annual statutory accounts Support the Auditors with all queries in relation to the annual audit Submit the EC Sales listing to HMRC Submit Pension Contributions To ensure all RTI, and payroll associated reports are filed to HMRC before the respective deadline Ensure internal payroll deadlines are met Investigate and report on Stock and Stock Movement Your Profile Studying towards an accounting qualification ACCA or CIMA Excel skills - pivot tables and vlookups Previous experience with month-end production Ambitious in attitude Benefits £28,000 Study Support 10% annual company bonus Private Healthcare 25 days holiday bank holidays 1pm finish on a Friday Additional monthly bonus (discretionary) Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
