Head of Credit Risk Acquisitions London Up to £120,000 Competitive Benefits A fast paced, established lender is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Manager or Head of Credit Risk with experience developing and optimising Credit Risk Underwriting and Acquisition Strategies. Currently with 6 direct reports, you'll lead a team of Managers and Analysts to deliver the Underwriting Strategies, balancing high growth with quality credit. You'll own the strategic agenda for all front end initiatives across the product suite incuding credit criterion for marketing to new customers, creditworthiness and affordabiity tools, eligibility checks, credit limit assignments etc. This is the chance to make an impact in a growing lender with huge potential who's competitive advantage lies in there data capability, cutting edge processes and hugely talented team. THE ROLE: Lead a team of Credit Risk Managers and Analyts to grow out the unsecured lending portfolios, whilst also minimising impairment losses Leadership role for all front end initiatives including Underwriting policies, Acquisition strategies etc as well as inputting into the risk based pricing strategy Strategic credit lead on new customer marketing strategies, including the optimisation of marketing selection credit criterion, eligibility checking, pre-approvals across all new customer marketing channels Analytical lead on new customer marketing and credit decision processes Work cross functionally with different teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals Be a leader within the business SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience designing, developing and implementing Credit Risk Acquisition strategies Experience maintaining, monitoring and optimising a Acquisition strategies Involvement with the building and monitoring of scorecards and Credit Risk models preferred Strong SAS or SQL skills are highly desirable; programming experience in R or Python may compensate for lack of SAS and SQL Highly numerate degree required THE BENEFITS: Up to £120,000 Bonus up to 25% Pension up to 21% Drive the strategic direction of a growing lender HOW TO APPLY: Email your CV or use the apply feature on this page KEY SKILLS: Credit Risk Analysis, Portfolio Analysis, SAS, SQL, Retail Banking, Strategy, Commercial, Acquisitions Strategy, New Business Strategy, Loan Optimisation, Collections Strategy, Existing Customer Management, Portfolio Analytics, Product Strategy, Digital Optimisation, Marketing Analytics, Underwriting Policies, Affordability, Creditworthiness
