Audit Senior This Top 15 firm is recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Senior to work within their expanding London office, to assist Managers and Directors in execution of audit field work and audit file completion. The role also involves some Accounts preparation. Due to growth within the fastest growing office of the firm, they are looking for a newly qualified individual to join to the team to assist them in achieving their strategic goals. The Audit and Accounts Senior duties will be: Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments Planning assignments in conjunction with managers Leading assignments and assisting colleagues on larger or more complex projects Supervising junior staff during the audit and review their work Delivering the audit file to the assignment manager in timely manner Identifying and documenting audit issues and control weaknesses Regularly communicating assignment progress to the manager Requirements Newly qualified (or soon to be) ACA, ACCA or equivalent Experience of company audits: planning, budget preparation, identifying key risks, developing an audit plan, executing the audit on site Experience preparing audit files using an electronic working paper system Some prior experience of statutory company accounts preparation under UK GAAP Experience of preparing budgets and monitoring actual time against budget Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enthusiastic with a positive attitude Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
