Finance Assistant Conservatory Outlet is an industry renowned and award-winning manufacturer of high-quality windows, doors and conservatory products supplying to a retail network of 28 installation companies that operate across the UK. Following unprecedented growth, we are recruiting a Finance Assistant where you will support the Finance ; You will responsible for the Purchase Ledger, Cash Book and weekly payroll ; You will have a positive outlook with a strong focus on doing the right thing for the customer, creating win-wins and display energy and tenacity. Hours of work are Monday to Friday - Role Responsibilities To oversee the purchase ledger function, ensuring all purchase ledgers are complete and closed by the 7 th of the following month; To process a weekly payroll using Sage Line 50; To investigate unallocated cash ensuring a clean purchase ledger and to respond to purchase ledger supplier queries; To be the main point of contact to resolve queries and to liaise with suppliers To undertake daily bank reconciliations; To be responsible for petty cash, reconciling it on a weekly basis; To provide finance support and information to managers; To undertake any other finance related work. Person Attributes Experienced in Purchase Ledger and payroll; Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels; A strong sense of humour and the ability to build good working relations; Excellent team working skills with the ability to develop good positive working relations; The ability to maintain confidentiality; Excellent accuracy skills with attention to detail; Good computer skills with a sound knowledge of all Microsoft packages and excellent numeracy and literacy skills; Able to complete work in a timely and accurate manner with proven experience of achieving deadlines; A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload; A highly-motivated individual with a can-do approach to work; A flexible approach to work is a must.
