Overview of the Department: Transaction Banking Office for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is a part of Global Transaction Banking Division to drive regional business and support global and reginal customers with Transaction Banking products in Trade Finance and Cash Management. Cash Management Product team is an essential part of the regional Transaction Banking team providing product management support to all MUFG Bank branches in EMEA out of the regional HQ in London. The remit of the team includes a full spectrum of cash management products and services such as deposits and liquidity management, domestic and international payments and collections instruments and e-channels. This role is of senior calibre with a potential to act as a Deputy for the EMEA Head of Product Management. Main purpose of the role: The role manages a portfolio of cash management and liquidity products such as term deposits, cash concentration, notional pooling, cash forecasting, investment solutions and any other innovative new products and services aimed at corporate clients and their international and domestic liquidity management needs. The role holder is responsible for the development and maintenance of MUFG's liquidity and cash management proposition to grow revenues, increase the market share in EMEA and improve customer satisfaction. Key

responsibilities:
Manage various areas for a number of products and services for corporate liquidity management with key focus on customer centricity and product profitability. Solid understanding of the corporate treasuries' needs in cash and liquidity management as a driver for bank's products and services Working understanding of funding requirements, capital adequacy requirements, and Asset and Liability Management framework and other bank liquidity management processes as part of FTP and LP determination Enhance, develop and maintain relevant corporate liquidity management product solutions for a sustainable growth in operating deposits and balances to meet the strategic objectives and annuals plans Provide subject matter expertise and leverage the knowledge in designing and launching liquidity and cash management solutions aimed at a healthy return on investment (supported by understanding of customer needs and a potential pipeline). Act as a lead specialist for Sales and Relationship Managers on product and market information and in developing solutions tailored for customer needs. Develop and manage product MI and analytics reports to enable informed decision making for protecting and growing the associated revenues. Analyse, monitor and report on trends, patterns and client behaviors to enable pro-active actions. Provide thought leadership and expertise for product development and innovation ideas, create business cases to articulate expected ROI and business impact. Play a leading role in proposing and developing a regional product strategy and roadmap. Apply commercial acumen and assess merits of proposed changes to ensure there is a good business justification for proposed changes/developments (e.g. business case preparation, cost-benefit analysis, impact assessment, risk review, etc.) Keep up-to date and apply knowledge of key industry trends, innovation and Fintech developments for enhancing the existing product portfolio and/or developing new solutions. Remain abreast of key regulations and trends impacting corporate and bank liquidity management. Provide regular updates on regulatory changes (e.g. Basel 3) and impacts to internal stakeholders with recommendations for changes and actions. Define and drive pricing strategy and commercialization for the liquidity management product suite. Introduce and manage exceptional pricing monitoring. Develop, update and conduct product training and product collateral. Recommend and implement a framework for monitoring, reporting and managing liquidity product risks. Identify, escalate and address any issues in a timely manner . Ensure risk controls are in place and remain relevant and efficient over time. Liaise and influence a wide range of stakeholders in global HQ, EMEA regional HQ, EMEA branches/subsidiaries across various roles in front office business units and support functions. Support the Team Head with flexibility Work experience: Essential: A minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience in cash and liquidity management and/or product management in a Commercial bank Ability to lead and influence without formal reporting lines Ability to engage with stakeholders at senior levels both internally and externally with customers Preferred: Product Management, Product Sales and/or Product Marketing experience is preferred, but not essential. Exposure to product commercialization and product marketing activities is desirable Skills and experience: Functional / Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of Cash and Liquidity Management business and corporate treasuries' requirements. Strong knowledge of transaction banking, balance sheet management, industry trends, relevant regulations, and liquidity products. Thought leadership in understanding, assessing impact and interpreting industry trends and innovation on products and corporate treasury needs. Customer focus and awareness of impact on customers for any decision Understanding of system infrastructure/architecture and supporting operations Ability to articulate benefits of liquidity and cash management products for customers and the Bank.
