Purchase Ledger Clerk : London : Perm This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large professional consultancy in the construction sector with offices in Central London in a senior role within the purchase ledger team. The key aspect of this role is the processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and employee expenses. You will be working in a team of 4. This is a very hands-on role that requires someone who is adaptable, and willing to take on other ad hoc tasks within the team. Main

responsibilities:
Daily processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and Expenses Register invoices and send to the relevant partner for approval Check expense forms for receipts and relevant authorisation Ensure that invoices are correctly coded and authorised in line with the firm's policies Ensure that expense claims are correctly coded, and adhere to both the firms anti- bribery policies and HMRC guidelines Preparation of the weekly BACS payment run and cheque run in a timely manner Regular supplier statements reconciliations Liaise with the management accounts team for any necessary adjustments Monitor the Purchase Ledger & Expenses email inbox - print invoices, statements and answer queries Posting bank transactions Resolve Internal and External Purchase Ledger & Expense Ledger queries Be the Purchase Ledger Manager cover - check the payment runs & coordinated the workload within the team File purchase invoices and expenses claims Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Purchase Ledger Manager Required: Proven experience of processing purchase invoices and expenses and monthly reconciliations Knowledge of the impact of Purchase Ledger transactions in the General Ledger Ability to organise & prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated Good communication skills Strong attention to detail and good typing speed Strong organisation skills Ability to build relationships internally and externally Good excel skills (desired) To apply for this opportunity please contact me at Huntress Search Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of 'protected characteristics' as defined under the Equality Act and other relevant UK legislation.
