Assistant Accountant (Practice) Do you have recent UK Practice experience? Are you looking to join a Top 50 Firm where you can continue and develop your accounting career? I am recruiting for a Business Services Assistant Accountant to join a credible and well established practice based in Bury St Edmunds. This role is well suited to a part or fully AAT qualified candidate (or with equivalent practice experience). This is a full time, permanent position where AAT study support is provided. For the successful candidate, day to day duties of this role will include:
• Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Single and double entry bookkeeping
• Production of management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supporting matters relating to personal and corporate tax
• Processing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
• Working across Sage Line 50, Xero and Quickbooks software In return, the successful candidate will be given study support towards AAT/ACA/ ACCA qualification, given a competitive salary and opportunity to progress within the firm.
