Our client based near Waddesdon is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit somebody who is used to working for an established, small, family run firm within a generalist accounts role, covering all aspects of accounts. Main
responsibilities:
Book-keeping duties to include but not limited to reconciliations, purchase ledger, invoicing, foreign currency transactions and payroll, all using SAGE Line 50 Credit control, maintaining a healthy sales ledger and chasing outstanding debts by telephone and email Monitoring stock levels and purchasing to maintain stock levels Sales order processing, uploading orders and invoicing Supporting the sales team Handling incoming enquiries via email and telephone Arranging meetings, events, transport and accommodation where necessary Assisting in stock takes and occasional picking and packing for urgent orders Requirements: Numeracy and book-keeping skills are essential Payroll and Credit control, minimum 2 years of experience A working knowledge of Excel Excellent communication skills A logical mind with an ability to think through problems pragmatically Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience
