OPR is delighted to be recruiting for a Reconciliations Clerk on behalf of a global financial services business based in Basildon. This role will suit a motivated and proactive individual who has extensive reconciliation experience, is AAT qualified and has good Excel skills including the use of vlookups & pivot tables. You will be joining a team that is responsible for the accurate reconciling of multiple processing platforms. Duties will include: Balancing and reconciling the processing platform within agreed client SLAS Managing the daily/monthly reconciliations processes Settling funds with clients and governing organizations Reviewing and signing off daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations Managing audits for the department - internal, statutory, SOX Providing settlement and reconciliation training to new clients Making decisions on problem situations and be proactive in reducing liability Managing settlement incidences, major issues and concerns, escalating to Manager when needed The ideal candidate will have: An accounting, finance or statistics background Extensive audit or reconciliations experience Good Excel skills Advanced analytical skills Attention to detail Good communication skills Can work independently or within a group This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive company that encourages development and progression, so for more information, please apply today
