My client is a Global market leader in their field are now looking for a General Ledger Accountant to work as part of their team. This is a newly created position due to growth therefore it's a brilliant time to join. Reporting to the Accountant your key responsibility will be to ensure that all procedures and control policies are completed accurately and to support senior finance across European sites. Prepare and code facility Invoices and upload Journal Maintain facility Cost Management system. Accruals & Prepayments and reviewing any variances. Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset registers Maintain GL Account Analysis Completion of balance sheet schedules. Ensuring the efficient processing of cashbook transactions via the accounting system. Reconciling cashbooks to bank statements daily. Reconcile multiple foreign currencies transactions. Complete monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounting files and tax packs. Assist with Intercompany and account reconciliations. Review and revise standard procedures where appropriate to ensure efficiency and compliance with SOX. You will need strong general ledger experience (international would be advantageous). AAT qualification minimum and the ability to work within a busy environment and high volumes of work to be considered for this role.
