My client based in Grays are looking to recruit a Payroll Data Assistant on a 3 month temporary basis. The role has come about due to an increase in workload and is to provide support to the payroll team throughout this busy period. You will join an experienced team who are responsible for the delivery of in house payroll of high volume payroll on a monthly basis. You will assist the team in delivering these payrolls accurately and to tight deadlines. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing high volume payroll from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayments, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
