SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant for a long term assignment working for a large manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton. The successful individual will be responsible for the upkeep of the SAP system as well as aspects of reporting and financial reconciliations. Your responsibilities will include; - Leading the month end process and reporting pack presentation - Preparation of cash flow forecast and profit & loss - Monthly Balance Sheet production and reconciliation - Preparation of the audit packs (internal & external) and liaising with the relevant audit teams - Control of capital investment - Fixed Asset and Depreciation reconciliations and postings - Work with Global commercial and purchasing teams to establish revenue risks and opportunities on projects - Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and controls within the financial area. Ensure the correct application of accounting procedure - Budgeting & business planning - Involvement in working capital reporting and improvement - Business Partnering and presenting to the board regularly - Ensuring best practice accounting procedures and suggesting improvements where appropriate The perfect candidate will be ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment and a high level of experience and knowledge of basic accounting. The ability to manage most aspects of month end closing/reporting and experience of working to strict deadlines are imperative for this role. This is an interim role with an immediate start available so only candidates available at short notice will be considered (1 week max).
