Job description - Management Accountant Our client is an innovative leader in the student accommodation space and is part of a privately owned global organization. They are one of the largest and most respected Real Estate businesses across the globe. The Role Based at their London HQ, we are searching for a high calibre, recently qualified Chartered Accountant who is looking for their first role within Commerce & Industry. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a newly created position and plays an essential part in the monitoring of the day to day activities of this fast paced business. The incumbent will be responsible for the review and interpretation of accurate and relevant financial management information to meet the needs of the wider Senior Management Team.

Responsibilities:
Review and provide commentary on monthly performance across a number of EU entities and the UK business, liaising with applicable managers to ensure that all variances are investigated and explained. Be a key contact for the external third party accountants who produce the draft reports, and clearly communicate changes and drive developments in the reporting. Liaise with non-finance commercial management providing incisive information on business performance, identifying key issues and trends to enable business decisions to be made. Assist the Financial Controller in the development and continuous improvement of management reporting systems, processes, controls and output, to ensure they are robust and allow for the reporting of this dynamic business experiencing continued expansion. Assist with the annual audit Ad hoc financial analysis and regular forecasting. Drive the annual budgeting process Essential experience and skills: Recently qualified Chartered Accountant Technically strong with an attitude for business process improvement Highly numerate and excellent analytical ability Proactive and solution focused Customer orientated with proven ability to develop close working relationships Enthusiastic and motivated team player with the ability to plan and execute tasks unsupervised Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines Ability to translate complex information for a non-finance audience Resilient, enthusiastic, hard working with strong communication skills High level of personal credibility, professionalism and ethical standards Ability to build new reports and presentations Excel & powerpoint This role would suit an ambitious, technically strong ACA who relishes the opportunity to add value in a growing international business that offers excellent training and development, a fun place to work with the opportunity for overseas travel.
