Apprentice Accounting Associate - AAT level 3 to £24,000 This leading Accountants have an excellent reputation and are continuing to grow significantly. As a result of this they are now looking for a candidate either studying for AAT level 3 or recently qualified at AAT level 3 to join their thriving City of London office. This role offers continued career progression and a comprehensive supervised training program, aiding apprentices to work towards studying the ACCA after having completed the AAT, and become qualified as accountants. Responsibilities:
Accounts: Act as a trainee accountant in the Corporate Team of the firm. Prepare accounts from both manual and computerised accounting records. Provide both general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts. Work with clients to help improve their accounting systems and controls, assisting clients when required. Recommend improvements to the clients' accounting systems and controls and assisting clients whenever needed. Prepare VAT returns Client Service and Care: Budget for your time and keep costs within budget wherever possible. For smaller assignments, plan and complete the accounts file as per the relevant Completion Checklist. Set up files in accordance with the Planning Checklist. Responsibilities will increase as the employee advances through their training. Key Skills: Candidates must have the equivalent of 120 UCAS points (300 points using the old grading system); roughly equivalent to grades B, B, B in top three A Levels. AAT Level 3 completed or part completed.
