Well known and growing business based in Manchester City Centre is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent role for someone who is looking to manage and lead a team within a growing and motivated business. Duties of this role will include: Supervising small team of Purchase Ledger Clerks Deal with supplier queries, ensuring a good relationship is kept with all suppliers. Complete cash payments daily, posting and allocating payments on the ledger accurately. Implement process improvements. Process weekly/monthly payments for suppliers. Ensure the purchase ledger is tidy and accurate. Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring that they are all completed within month end deadlines. Skills and experience required: Working in a purchase ledger with supervisory experience essential Confident in supervising a team Very well organised Good excel skills Able to work to strict deadlines Sound communication skills High degree of accuracy In return an excellent salary and package is offered for the role along with progression and development for the right person
