On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst for a 4-5 Month contract based in London Job Description Part of the Statutory Reporting team's work is to produce the year end Annual Reports for Santander UK Group Holdings plc, Santander UK plc and ANTS, work which peaks in January and February and requires staff to be trained in the process before then. This is business critical, as it supports the bank's external funding program, and we require this vacancy to be filled to allow us to complete the work. Reporting to the Statutory Reporting Manager, the role is primarily responsible for: Assisting with the production of significant parts of the UK Annual Reports, to ensure that all the data complies with applicable disclosure requirements. Producing the equivalent elements of the US Annual Reports on Form 20-F for US filing purposes. Assisting with the Finance Division's support for debt issuances, including reviews of draft prospectuses, and negotiation of engagement, management representation and comfort letters with external auditors, legal counsel and underwriters. Identifying and implementing improvements, efficiencies and innovations to the statutory reporting process. Ensuring effective operation of internal controls over the statutory reporting process, including for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act purposes. Key candidate skill sets are: Strong numerical skills.
