Our client, based in East Hertfordshire is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Financial Controller to join its team. They are looking for a ''hands on" individual with proven staff management experience who is able to support the SMT Overseeing all accounting and financial matters for the business Preparing monthly management information including P&L, balance sheet and forecasts/budgets. Liaising with HMRC, Companies House and external accountants, including payroll and submitting all normal returns including year end accounts, VAT,PAYE and statistical returns etc. Regularly monitoring and auditing projects budgets, purchases and margins. Staff management and development Overseeing recruitment of new staff Managing all financial aspects of projects. Actively participating in preparing budgets and monitoring cash flow. Controlling contractual terms with suppliers and clients You are experienced in working within an SME environment, being hands on in approach whilst being operationally focused. You are ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with excellent communication and systems skills
