Finance Manager / Accountant

An established technology business in Ilford is looking to enhance its finance function with a qualified accountant. Duties will include: Preparation full monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts, and accruals and prepayments Accounts prepared accurately and on time Involvement in strategic planning and commercial reporting. Prepare information and reports required by the business. Statutory accounts Budgets Quarterly VAT Return Monthly payroll Take overview control of credit control Liaise with the Company's bankers, insurance brokers and independent financial advisors on day to day matters including cars, office policies, pensions and private medical insurance Carry out analysis and analytical review of various business matters to support the CEO & FD. Support the accounts team as required and deputise for the FD when not available.

Experience with systems implementation and process improvements would be an advantage.
