Interim Senior Financial Analyst

Core accounting system, this includes performing ledger postings & reconciliations,extract & report data.

Being based in central Cardiff this employer has a large finance team where you would work in a specialist Accounting Analytics department

Your new role
This role is interim and would see you be involved with supporting the team through daily processes raising any issues. You will be involved with month end reconciliations, including the investigation and clearance of outstanding items. You will support Financial Reporting including month end accounting process to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of the financial / management accounts, related revenue, balance sheet, tax or other regulatory returns. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues and errors found in Accounting Operations processes, as well as for identifying opportunities for process improvement, adding and maintaining them on the continuous improvement log and progressing them through to execution.

What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate would have experience in core accounting system, this includes performing ledger postings and reconciliations. You will need to extract and report data from accounting and other admin systems. You will need to hit the ground running.
