Job Details
On behalf of a business based in the centre of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
Client Details
My client is an SME with exciting plans to grow over the next 2-3 years, they have a finance team of four and will look to give more duties to this role as the candidate progresses.
Description
The successful applicant for this Accounts Assistant role will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Managing purchase and sales ledger
- Credit control
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT-returns
- Cashflow forecasting
- Cashbook reconciliations
- Producing ad-hoc reports to assist the management team
- Daily communication with, clients, suppliers and colleagues via telephone and email
Profile
To be considered for this Accounts Payable role you must posses the following:
- Be studying towards the middle stage of AAT or equivalent
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Great attention to detail & strong grasp of some of the above duties
- Excellent communication skills
