Finance Manager Role-Leading Healthcare SME-Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire - £35,000-£45,000 per annum

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and rapidly growing SME within the health care sector based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join the team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to track company-wide performance and assist the Company Director's in making the best business decisions. A varied and hands-on Finance role where you can really add value and support business growth supporting a small finance team.

Your new role

Your key duties will involve overseeing and supporting a small Finance team, monitoring the day-today financial operations of the group. Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly/annual reports, presenting financial analysis to the directors to include cash flow forecasting and detailed budgeting along with identifying/implementing management accounting processes. You will be involved in and support in all cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts received, cash flow, payments, assets and stock control and tax compliance processes, along with being involved in various projects as directed by the senior management team. You will be involved in managing the financial arrangements for the integration of newly purchased companies into the group along with streamlining/improving processes/systems.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting and hands-on Finance Manager position you will need experience within a similar role, ideally ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified/qualified with SME experience. You will need experience in improving processes and systems with management reporting knowledge and key communication skills to build relationships at all levels. You will need to be able to manage your own work-loads and work towards time constraint deadlines. Experience within the healthcare sector and Sage packages would be advantageous but not essential.
