ACCOUNTANT

Your new role
They are keen to appoint a progressive Accountant to join their close-knit well-retained team that are going through positive changes to support the growth of the business. Reporting in the Financial Controller, you would be responsible for all aspects of financial accounts reporting, planning, analysis and decision support. Duties will include:

• Monthly Management Accounting
• KPI Reporting
• Budgeting, planning & forecasting
• Statutory accounting
• Stock reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Journals
• Accounting system maintenance

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal person for the position will be either part qualified or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, with a strong background in technical accounting. You will be an advanced user of MS Excel and have experience in maintaining complex financial and reporting systems. Strengths required include: effective communication skills, collaborative and supportive nature, good attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively working well under pressure.
