Job Details
The purpose of the Accountant post is to provide analysis and decision support to the senior management team. You'll be analysing product costing, financial reporting, forecast and budgeting.
Client Details
The client is based in between Ebbw Vale and Merthyr, and is easily accessible via the Heads of the Valleys road or the A470. The client provides services across South Wales and are a customer facing organisation.
Description
As a Accountant you would be involved in:
Financial Management and Reporting
Preparing monthly closing journal entries and take ownership of investigating/resolving odd results in a timely manner
Preparing detailed account analysis reports for the Balance Sheet
Preparing some month end, quarterly and year end reports
Preparing quarterly forecast and annual budget requirements in support of developing product standard costs. Monitor actual results against budget.
