Job Details
The Sheffield based role of Management Accountant is responsible for controlling the accounting for multiple sites for the business. Including assisting with the development and maintenance of financial controls, accurate accounting and month end procedures within this well-known law firm.

Description
The successful candidate for the Sheffield based role of Management Accountant would be responsible for the following;
- Preparing the monthly management accounts and overseeing the bank account reconciliations
- Assisting with ensuring the Payroll, VAT and other Taxes are all fully compliant
- Providing support to the Finance Director and Financial Controller when necessary
- Preparing the balance sheet reconciliations for the UK and oversee their production for other offices in the region
- Supervising the Finance Assistants
- Assisting with the year-end statutory audits, including preparation of the financial statements for the UK and other offices
Profile
The successful candidate for the Sheffield based role of Management Accountant should possess the following;
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA fully qualified
- Can come from a practice or industry background
- Only 2/3 year post qualification experience is needed
- Previous experience of producing accounts for multiple sites is desired
- Strong excel skills needed
- Knowledge of UK tax is desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Productive, accountable and efficient
- Enjoys working as part of a team
