Assistant Accountant Medway £25k-£30k. 12 month FTC will consider full & part-time options 25hrs+
Your new company
You will be working for an established and growing organisation who work in a nice industry with a global presence. The Assistant Accountant job is covering maternity leave for 12 months on a fixed term basis and will consider full & part-time options. Full time = 40 hours a week, part-time = 25 to 30 hours a week.
Your new role
You will be responsible for IT/Systems queries, posting bank statements with allocations, Accruals and prepayments. You will also post sales invoices, assist with month-end, Intercompany reconciliations and the normal accounting procedures. You duties and responsibilities may grow throughout the assignment dependant on your experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need excellent accounts experience in an all round position with excellent IT/Systems skills. You will have good Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups. You will be immediately available to start and commit to the full 12 month contract.
What you'll get in return
You will receive £25k - £30k for full time (40 hours) dependant on experience. Part-time hours will then be pro-rata accordingly.
