Job Description for Finance Head Accounting
• Preparation of day-to-day accounts
• Month end account statement preparation
• Bank statement reconciliation, GST, TDS computation & returns
• Payroll management, Compliance with ESI & PF
• Balance sheet , P&L, Cash flow statement preparation
• Receivables & Payables Management; Cash management
• Payment control & processing; maintain up-to-date statement of accounts of customers
• Ensure that customer modifications are approved, invoices generated & payments received before work on the same is commenced
• Monitor & ensure implementation of company internal controls Reporting
• Provide project budget tracking support to Projects Manager
• Track expenditure of non-tender items
• Provide financial data & reporting for monthly project reviews
• Provide budget variance reports to management Purchase Reconciliation
• Reconciliation of material ordered v/s supplied & payments
• Quarterly stock-taking of materials at site Process
• Standardize accounting practices
• Contribute to establishment of construction ERP to be implemented for all projects
• Compliance to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification Reporting
• Support Director with Financial Planning & Analysis
• Implement weekly financial reporting system within company
• Ensure continuous reporting on the project budget in collaboration with Projects Manager
• Maintain company MIS reporting pertaining to accounts
• Track contract regulation for the assigned project in line with commercial terms Collaboration
• Work closely with other departments (Sales & Marketing, Projects) & with Management to achieve company objectives
• Assist on issues related to statutory compliances with respect to contractors
• Co-ordinate with Projects team to ensure timely preparation of debit & credit statements with respect to customer modifications Finance Manager: We are looking for an experienced person who can handle Finance portfolio of 2-3 companies and lead the team. He may not be a Chartered Accountant but should have hands on experience.
