Bookkeeper Part-time Derby Salary dependent on previous experience


An exciting opportunity to join an engineering organisation based in Derby experiencing massive growth. This organisation work with a number of large scale clients in multiple industries such as marine, automotive and food production. They are now looking for a bookkeeper to join originally on a part-time basis over 5 days a week.

You will be working in their friendly, open-plan offices with a small, supportive team. Your role will involve all round accounts duties including posting supplier invoices, reconciliations, managing and updating sales ledger including aspects of credit control regarding chasing debtors and requesting creditors statements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and get involved in a varied role. The team are extremely sociable and provide an excellent working atmosphere.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have solid experience using Sage, this will be tested at interview, along with being excel competent. Preferably a background in sectors such as engineering, manufacturing and construction will bode well for this role. You will be confident performing an all-round accounts role including credit control aspects.

What you'll get in return

This role will begin part-time, over 5 days a week. However, as you grow with the organisation there is potential for responsibility and hours to increase. Salary will fall dependent on previous experience. You have the opportunity to join a sociable team with a friendly atmosphere and social events throughout the year.
