Lead Finance Business Partner
Working for an authority funded by central government this is a critical role supporting budget holders with their budgetary control and financial analysis of projects.
Key duties will include
- Providing accurate financial monitoring and planning
- Compilation and maintenance of the revenue budget systems
- Assisting with the completion of statutory accounts
- Supporting the improvement of systems and management reporting systems
You will be a qualified accountant and will be able to work independently. You will have some management experience or will be ready to assume management responsibility and be keen to take on the challenge. Good systems exposure is essential and you must have excellent excel experience and be capable of dealing with large data sets. Experience of working in local government or a public services organisation would be beneficial although not essential.
