Collections Team Leader - Cardiff £27,000 - £30,500

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of collection agents to deliver a team performance. Balancing resource between inbound calls and outbound dialling and text campaigns, you will plan and manage the daily workloads, ensuring that productivity is maximised and performance KPIs are met or exceeded.

This will include (but are not limited to) ensuring the implementation of effective people management practices such as resource planning, training and development and compliance in line with company values; optimising working practices through continuous improvement , innovation and best practice; contributing to the development and improvement of the collection strategy; and gathering and analysing information to monitor performance and provide management information to ensure targets are met.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of managing a team within a collections / credit control environment with experience of providing coaching and mentoring to staff and being a proven problem solver. You will have an ILM qualification or equivalent management training. Competency in the use of Microsoft Office applications is essential. The ability to communicate in Welsh would be desirable but not essential.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £27,000 - £30,500 dependent on experience. 32 days annual leave (increasing with length of service). Other benefits include excellent pension, retail and gym discounts etc.
