Description
Participating in Audit and assurance activities to assess the management and control of IT related risk, using established audit methodologies, identifying control weaknesses and suggesting process/control improvements.
Ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements, with the support of other team members.
Delivers on distinct areas within internal audit reviews and supports the team in other ad-hoc activities e.g. management dashboards, follow-up of recommendations.
Maintaining effective relationships across the business with all teams.
Profile
Qualified Accountant preferred (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT)
Alternatively, degree in Finance and/or IT, with relevant work experience in IT audit, change management or information security.
Previous internal or external auditing experience, with a background in IT Audit highly desirable.
Hands-on experience of IT control assessment (data analytics experience desirable).
Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Works effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment, dealing with setbacks in a positive manner.
