Your new company
A successful and well established business in Stockport are looking to recruit for a Management Accountant to join their finance team initially on a 12-15 month contract. This company are very reputable and also a market leader within their industry.

Your new role
This role reports in to the Financial Controller and will play an integral role in supporting the business to monitor, develop and enhance financial and operational performance. Providing support in company-wide projects and to budget holders. Production of departmental management reporting packs. Monthly P&L reviews with budget holders. Company accounting adjustments for accounts preparation. Budgeting and forecasting. Supporting the year end statutory accounts process to include audit supervision. Analysis and project work for the Board of Directors and Executive Board, as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified and have experience of either producing management accounts and/or accounts preparation. You will need to have excellent communication skills as this role requires building relationships around the business. You will also have a Strong IT background (high level of excel skills, picks up new systems easily), experience with using TM1 Cognos would be a bonus.

What you'll get in return
You will get a competitive salary of up to £40,000 along with an excellent benefits package which include 27 days holiday plus bank and a contributory pension of up to 7%. The role is initially on 12-15 month contract but there is potential for an extension and a permanent position. They are based in a very accessible location with free parking on site.
