Position Summary

This is a Graduate position in the Hardware Financial Planning and Analysis department, based in Dundee. For the right candidate this is the opportunity to begin a career in Finance working within a dynamic Global team. You will benefit from exposure to variance areas of the Hardware business and over time the opportunity to progress and gain experience in different areas of the Finance department, including Controllership and Inventory and Cost account.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Supporting the monthly reporting, forecasting and analysis process. Reviewing budget variances and key metrics and working with the wider Finance team and Operations team to understand movements from Plan and Forecast.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports to communicate our results to our business partners within NCR and to NCR Corporate Finance.
  • Finance contact for Hardware Global Support Team Plan and budget reporting
  • Assist in the Hardware Foreign Exchange process.
  • Key role in reviewing and assessing Hardware Capital Appropriation requests
  • Assist in the Hardware Annual Plan process, gathering financial inputs reviewing and verifying data.
  • Ensure accuracy in Financial reporting tools, accounting structure and responsibility for ongoing system integrity.
  • Drive improvements and consistency into the finance processes.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, Accounting, Finance, or other related Business discipline
  • Prepare to work toward Professional Accounting Qualification – preferably CIMA
  • Desire to learn and develop in a varied and fast paced environment
  • Commitment to deadlines and strong time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident to work using own initiative, but equally comfortable to ask questions and seek guidance when required.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, intermediate to advanced level preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of Anaplan cloud-based planning solution
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Understanding of ERP Oracle application and EDW
