Leadership level role with a well known Dorset organisation. Duties will be varied and include significant team and stakeholder management components, as well as operational accounting activities (largely budgeting, forecasting, analysis based)

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, developing and motivating a management accounting team
  • Working closely and partnering with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • Production of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and ensuring all reporting is accurate and delivered on time
  • Supporting with new and ongoing systems implementations
  • Ad-hoc Finance work, project related tasks and other activities in line with a senior level position within the business

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate a strong track record in successful staff management and stakeholder liaison
  • Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively build relationships across all levels
  • Evidence a 'hands on' skillset around management accounting, budgeting & forecasting
  • Be an experienced user of ERP & accounting softwares, in addition to Excel
  • Ideally have some prior experience working in the housing sector, however this is not essential
  • Be available to start either immediately or with a maximum of one month's notice
  • Be available and prepared to commit to a contract of a minimum of 12 months

Our client are offering the opportunity to join their organisation on a contract basis for a minimum of 12 months. Candidates who are only available via a daily rate set-up will also be considered
