Client Details
Our clientis a growing international business in it's field, based outside Cambridge. They have a newly created Management Accountant position.
Description
The successful Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Maintain, update and continuously develop planning, budgeting and forecasting systems and practices to enable and drive the future growth of including creating clear time lines and management budgeting and forecasting process within set time lines
- Prepare monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Communicate to internal and external stakeholders around management accounts
- Act as a business partner to P&L owners to identify and pursue opportunities to improve performance and act as a thought leader and coordinator with shareholder companies)
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
- Assist in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
- Support with year-end audit
- Preparation of reporting pack
- Ad hoc Financial analysis and reporting as and when required
- Ad hoc duties as required from time to time
Profile
The successful candidate will be/have:
- A qualified accountant
- Dealt with multiple entities
- Ability to manage workload and multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Highly numerate and strong analysis skills with strong attention to detail
- A strategic, solution-based thinker with an ability to think laterally
- Demonstrable Excel skills
