Your new role
You will be the second in command to the Head of Finance. The Group Accountant will lead the management and production of consolidated monthly accounts and will also be involved in all Group accounting duties, covering statutory reporting of all of the Group's entities, meeting the Group's external and internal reporting requirements whilst providing commercial support to senior management. Some responsibilities will include: Ownership of the preparation of the Group's monthly consolidated management accounts, which incorporates company and group-wide profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, cashflow statements, financial & non-financial KPI's and banking covenant compliance reporting. Development of an understanding of the proprietary domain name management systems to ensure that financial information is appropriately recorded and that invoice production is efficient and well managed. Assisting with the year-end process including liaison with external auditors, production of year-end statutory financial statements and the preparation of corporation tax returns and R&D claims in conjunction with the groups advisors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be ambitious and inquisitive. ACA, ACCA or CIMA Part-Qualified with comprehensive technical knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Analytical and problem-solving skills with an excellent attention to detail. Drive and determination and an open approach to your new role as well as willingness to learn.
