Hays Accountancy and Finance are supporting a fantastic organisation here in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking for a Billing specialist to come in and support their Finance function.

The Business has grown rapidly over the last couple of years, and a lot of that growth has come through acquisition of other businesses that they have brought into the group. The business is looking to unify their invoicing policies and procedures across all their entities, streamlining the process to enable the Credit department to ensure the cashflow to the business.


Your new role

A newly created role to support the Head of Revenue and Billing for the business, the role will involve getting involved in projects and supporting the supervision of the billing team.

Your duties will include:

• Ensure accurate billing across all business entities, resolving any queries or un-billable clients.
• Provide the required dataset to ensure that customers are accurately billed aligned to the agreed schedule
• Assist and manage current billing projects and develop / adapt the billing controls and processes based on the findings of the projects
• Ensure billing is completed to agreed SLA's
• Perform high-level analysis of period results, investigate and resolve any exceptions or inconsistencies

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years experience in a complex billing environment
• Experience in working on projects and working to deadlines.
• The ability to prioritise work and supervise a team.
